This is a Stata beginner course (Career Development: A certificate course). The certificate course (Stata) did not require any prior understanding of the software or statistical knowledge. Statistics are not taught in this course. The Stata beginner course’s purpose is to teach students about Stata‘s fundamental features and how to utilize them to analyze huge data sets. Students will work on two projects during the course. It also includes a step-by-step method to cover all of the content, in which I go through each command individually. I’ve included the scripts of the lectures in addition to the video lectures so that students can study and revise the content without having to watch videos. Although Stata comes with a variety of data sets, this course uses my own data sets to demonstrate the thought process required in data collection to students.
